Bespoke Careers Advice for SASG Doctors
13 Feb 2012Frontier is working with C2 Careers, a service from the University of London Careers Group, to offer a bespoke career advice service for SASG doctors. Our service gives you the chance to talk and be listened to by a skilled and impartial professional. We offer appointments from our offices in Russell Square or by phone, Skype of email.
Topics that might be covered in career coaching include:
Self Awareness and analysis
Acquire a more in-depth understanding of yourself and the importance of self awareness
Determining the main motivating factors in your career path to date
Exploring your personality and how it influences your career choices
Identify relevant areas of your role that could benefit from CPD activities
Exploring career directions
Identifying options including portfolio careers
Action planning and intelligent job hunting and research techniques
Interview skills
Understanding what interviewers are looking for
Preparing your evidence for competency based interviews
Answering questions convincingly; understanding and improving your body language
Dealing with presentations and other selection methods
Effective applications
Highlighting your transferable skills
Marketing yourself effectively on paper: CV, application forms and covering letters
After each service the user will be asked to complete a feedback form. We would provide a report on feedback received on a weekly or monthly basis depending on usage.
