CPD Uptake

Two years after Frontier was first set up, an analysis of CPD uptake has now been carried out. The CPD Uptake by Trust  graph shows the percentage of SASG doctors in Acute and Mental Health Trusts who have taken up at least 1 CPD oportunity through Frontier, as of August 24th 2010.

Currently, 57% of London SASGs doctors have taken up a CPD opportunity from Frontier. There is scope for a further improvement in uptake, with the delivery of Trust based CPD activities over the coming months. Support from SASG CPD representative, PGME departments and consultants will clearly be needed if CPD is to be used both as part of revalidation and as a tool for improving patient care.
